launch day!

It’s a crazy thing to witness a dream becoming a reality…
Seeing this dream my mama has had for a long time come to fruition has been such a joy. The fun thing is, it’s not only her dream now, but one that has become all of ours. My sister Jessica is her business manager and design assistant and has jumped in feet first learning new programs, creating processes, and so much more. I have gotten to take on the role as her brand and marketing director which has been such a neat opportunity to hone my skills in development which I have loved! Our dear friend and one of our greatest encouragers Shannon is joining as a content contributor (we can’t wait for you to hear from her heart!) and helping us with social media. Of course we can’t forget my dad Don, our co-founder, who has been such an incredible cheerleader for all of us ladies as we begin this exciting venture. It’s truly been amazing to see how all of our gifts and talents have come together for a common goal in making this dream become a reality. We each have families and homes that we love, and we all want nothing more than to help people make their home a special place that feels like them.
We officially launched Re:gather Design Collective on May 7th, 2022 with lots of friends and family in attendance at my parents’ beautiful home in Hurst. There was lots of yummy food, mom’s famous cookies, decor giveaways, and of course: confetti! We finally got to share all about what services we will offer and talk about our branding and vision for our business. And we officially launched a labor of love: our website! With the blast of some little confetti cannons, some happy tears, and hugs, it went live during the party. Click through the photos above to see just a glimpse of all the fun we had!
Long before the confetti got all over the floor, we began working on branding Re:gather Design Collective. I think it’s been almost a year since we really started dreaming and brainstorming. We bought this domain and began developing our brand. Here is a look into our “mood” board…where it all started. We scoured Pinterest and found images that really captured the essence of the look that we loved. Seeing everything come to life through colors, type and images was so exciting!
Re:gather Design Collective is more than just a design consultation firm. We pray that it is also a place of inspiration and hope. As we said in our “about” page, we are wives, moms, home makers, business owners…just like you! We all rise when we lift each other up, and our hope is that this blog is a little place where you can feel uplifted and encouraged. You will hear from all of us throughout each month. Some posts will be about our homes, some on faith or parenting, or even some recipes that we love to share with our families.
We can’t wait to keep developing and growing as we begin this business. That’s how life works, right? You keep trying new things, taking risks, finding beauty and helping others along the way. We sincerely hope you enjoy the journey with us.
